Knock the funk out of your po-33/133 with the incredible SID Funk patch!✊🎵
This patch was made in tribute to the legendary MOS technology 6581 chip, better known as SID (Sound Interface Device). This chip was a part of the Commodore64, which became the bestselling home computer of all time in the ‘80s. It had a particular sound, recognizable even 40 years after its creation. We wanted to make kind of a bridge into the modern music production world for this sound, and so this patch was born😄
The SID Funk patch contains a range of authentic SID chip samples: 1-12 slots of melodic ones and 13-16 slots of drums/noises. Samples were carefully selected, recorded, and trimmed to give your tracks these ’80s funky SID music vibes.
The patch also contains 5 demo tracks fitted into 16 patterns (P1-P16) to familiarize you with sound options. Most of the demo patterns utilize just 3 po channels, just like a real SID chip, which has only three voices. Use the fourth with any spare melodic slot for jamming! Add po-33 effects to boost your PO x SID experience even further😎
